Shooting the 16” Spade Snake Worm Mold — Behind the Scenes of a Giant Bait Build
If you’ve followed my channel for a while, you already know I love big baits… but this one is on another level. I recently pulled out the
BassTackle 16-inch Spade Snake Worm mold, and it’s honestly one of the wildest molds in my shop. Eight giant worms per injection — it’s a straight-up monster.

Jeremy Curtis showcasing Dead-On Plastix Dopamine color morph, used for creating premium soft plastic bait colors.
For this build I used Dead-On Plastix Dopamine from their Color Morph line to create a color-shifting effect that looks insane on this bait. The thick body shows deep metallic tones, while the thin spade tail lights up with those Dopamine highlights. This mold was basically made for this color.
I filmed the whole process and broke down the plastisol, the color mix, the injection technique, and how to get clean tail fills on a bait this big.
