About Jeremy Curtis – JC Fishing

I’m Jeremy Curtis — a husband, dad, and lifelong Texas fisherman who’s just out here trying to balance faith, family, and a serious addiction to bass fishing. I’m not a pro by any means, but I love learning, testing new gear, and sharing what actually works for everyday anglers.

JC Fishing started as a way to document my journey — the good casts, the bad casts, the missed hooksets, the gear failures, the funny moments, and everything in between. What you see on my channel and website is real Texas bass fishing with no ego and no filters.

I share honest gear reviews, kayak setups, tips I’ve learned the hard way, and real on-the-water stories. Every rod, reel, lure, camera, and accessory I talk about is something I actually use. My goal is simple: help anglers save time, save money, and enjoy fishing as much as I do.

At the end of the day, I’m a faith-filled, family-minded fisherman who’s just grateful for another sunrise, another cast, and another chance to share this journey with you.

Thanks for being here — it means more than you know.

Where It All Started

I grew up chasing reds and specks off the Texas City Dike with my dad — the kind of mornings where the bait bucket leaked, the air smelled like salt, and nothing else mattered because we were fishing together. Those days put something in me that never left.

When I hand my own kids a rod or pour a new bait today, it’s that same spark that comes back. Fishing has always been more than a hobby — it’s connection, memories, and a reminder of where I come from.

What Drives Me

Everything I do — whether it’s photographing a home with 57ink Photography, pouring soft plastics in the garage, or filming a new JC Fishing video — comes from the same place: passion, purpose, and doing things the right way.

I’m not chasing perfection or pretending to be someone I’m not. I’m learning, testing, messing up, and sharing what actually works for everyday anglers. My goal is simple: help people fish better, save money on gear, and enjoy the experience like I do.

Why JC Fishing Exists

JC Fishing is my way of building something real — a place where faith, family, and fishing come together. No ego, no fake flexing, no filtered “perfect” moments. Just real Texas bass fishing, honest gear reviews, kayak setups, and stories from someone who loves this stuff a whole lot.

If you’re here because you love fishing, or because you’re just trying to find gear that actually works, or you just like hanging with a regular dude who loves the outdoors — you’re in the right spot.
