Drift Quiklatch Tackle Sling – Unboxing & First Impressions
Man, I’m hyped about this one! The crew over at Evolution Outdoor sent me their Drift Quiklatch Tackle Sling, and from the moment I cracked open the box, I could tell this bag was built different.
This sling is made for anglers who move — whether you’re hopping banks, paddling the kayak, or squeezing in a quick after-work session. The Quiklatch system lets you access your trays in seconds, and the overall layout just makes sense.
What really sold me is how you can sling it around from back to front and grab what you need without even taking the bag off. That kind of convenience matters when you’re on the water and chasing fish, not fussing with gear.
The storage is well thought out: large exterior pocket (fits the 3500-size trays), two gusseted side pockets, three rubber-mesh slip pockets, a zippered strap pocket, side pocket line spool feed, dual plier holsters, and more. Evolution Outdoor
And the build: rugged 1680D fabric, open-access design, tie-down Y-strap, integrated rain-fly — this is gear made to handle real conditions. Evolution Outdoor
I can’t wait to load it up with tackle and hit the water in real-world conditions. Bank, kayak, river, whatever — this sling is going to get the test.
